This week for my 'shops i love' page, I bring you Lombok. Over ten years ago the founder of Lombok wanted to bring the beauty of eastern inspired furniture to the UK. Named after the idyllic island of Lombok, today there are more than a dozen stores that encompass different styles of uniquely designed furniture, lighting and accessories, all hand made from natural materials.

I am loving their bone inlay boxes for storing all my clutter and their gentle, warm neutral colour palette of oyster, willow linen and taupe as it is just so dreamy!

Damian Russell

One of my ambitions for 2011 is to take more photographs of my home and to get better at taking them. So, today I am sharing with you some of the beautiful photographs from self taught British photographer, Damien Russell.

Born in West Sussex, Damien moved to London when he was a teenager where he worked in television post production for five years, learning from the photographers he assisted. Now an established photographer for more than ten years, Damien's beautiful textural photographs have appeared in Living Etc, Martha Stewart Living, and House and Garden.
