Tools and Materials

• Empty tin can
• Tilda flower garden & Winter Bird Printed 230 gsm paper
• Double sided sticky tape
• Scissors

Pretty pen pots, How-to step by step

Wash and dry the empty tin can. Cut a piece of printed card the size of your tin can (you can use the old can label as a template). Cover the outside of the can in strips of double sided sticky tape. Remove backing from double sided tape and carefully wrap paper around can. Fill with paint brushes, pencils or pens!

Organizing my craft room

I have spent most of January getting myself super organized ready for the busy year ahead! I also sneaked in a long weekend away to Oslo for my birthday. Organizing my craft room has kept me the busiest but at least the end is in sight! Today I wanted to share with you how it's looking so far!

This week on Flickr Faves Sunday, I bring you *ShabbyRosesCottage*, whose beautiful house caught my eye. I love the multi-textured collection of pretty birds on her wall, the pops of turquoise throughout, and the cross stitch wall mural in her lounge is heavenly.

Lisbeth Dahl @ Top Drawer Spring 2012

A few weeks back I showed you the gorgeous new treasures from one of my favourite Danish interior brands, Lisbeth Dahl, so of course I made a bee-line for them at Top Drawer!

The plush velvet cushions were beautifully beaded, the shimmery satin cushions delightfully embroidered and the pretty patterned cushions delicately pleated. The array of embellished photo frames looked wonderful clustered together on book shelves and the patterned and etched glass jars looked yummy filled with candy.

Retreat Home

Today on label love I wanted to show you a new label, Retreat Home, who I discovered at Top Drawer the other week. Their stand was one of my favourites, with its fake grass carpet adorned with a vintage bicycle, a metal bench piled high with the prettiest cushions, and vintage suitcases spilling with delightfully embellished cosmetic bags. To top it off, a pretty duck egg blue caravan called 'Whimsy'. It made my heart flutter, I just had to take a closer look. Oh, and the inside of Whimsy did not disappoint! She was filled with cute applique cushions, peg bags and aprons, and galvanised planters.
