Pretty bulldog clips

I loved how my pretty thumbtacks turned out, so when I found my plain bulldog clips in a drawer, I decided to pretty them up in the same way! The perfect way to clip my new Pantone postcards to my inspiration wall!

Tools and materials

• Resin cabochon flowers in mint julep
• Resin cabochon flowers in angel food ivory
• Resin cabochon flowers in spiced salmon
• Bulldog clips
• Superglue

Pretty bulldog clips, How-to step by step

Simply glue the bulldog clips to the cabochons and leave to dry.

Kempe House

Today on Friday Finds I wanted to share with you one of my favourite new houses on 1st Option: Kempe House.

1st option is a company that represents homes and locations for still photography, TV and filming, with clients such as Country Homes & Interiors, Vogue, DKNY and Reiss to name a few. Established in 2001 they have built up a solid reputation for representing a high standard of stylish, beautiful locations. I love perusing the site to find inspiration for interiors.

Kempe House is a beautiful house in North West London with white wooden floor boards, neutral walls and lots of lovely, shabby chic white furniture. I love the delicate details like the pretty chandelier, ornate fireguard and fringed throws.

Cornishware giveaway

Cornish Kitchen Ware was first produced in 1926 by T.G.Green & Co in a county famed for its pottery, Derbyshire. This Great British design classic, with the special characteristic of clean white bands through its beautiful blue slip, was apparently named Cornishware after it reminded one employee of the clear blues and white-tipped waves of Cornwall. In the 1960s, Cornishware was updated by a young designer called Judith Onions but in 1997 sadly the company closed. Lifelong admirers Charles Rickards and Paul Burston, teamed up with designer and branding consultant Perry Haydn Taylor, whose wife Vik is an avid Cornishware collector, and they have resurrected the company famed for its classic blue and white hoops.

London Shopping

Today on shops i love I wanted to bring you something a bit different! Over the past few months I have had lots of emails asking me for suggestions of places to shop in London, and what with London recently being voted the number one city to visit in 2012:

I thought it about time I share my Google map to London. It is split into five categories, each with its own easy-to-see coloured push pins. There are my favourite interior boutiques, great fabric and craft shops, places to indulge in sweet treats like cupcakes, candy and ice cream, and markets to saunter around...

Bedroom Inspiration

As you know from Sunday's post, I have joined Facebook and I have set up a Torie Jayne page where I have been slowly adding pictures of my house from various stages of redecorating.
