Miss Etoile Spring 2013

Yesterday I visited Top Drawer, the UK's leading trade event for design-led gifts, lifestyle, Stationery and Greetings, Fashion and Wellbeing products. Top Drawer gives buyers an unrivalled opportunity to source products from a unique mixture of new and established designers and international brands.

On my "must visit" list of stands to check out was of course Miss Etoile. Who as always did not disappoint! For Spring 2013 they have produced a gorgeous baking collection with the cutest cookie cutters, prettiest cake decorations including sugar hearts and stars, crystal pearls and sprinkles, mini paper cake stands and beautiful paper doilies. But my absolute favourite treasure that I can't wait to hit stores later next month is the paper cupcakes and teapots...

Miss Etoile Christmas 2012

Todays Christmas inspiration comes from another one of my favourite Danish brands, Miss Etoile. I am loving the bang on trend honey comb balls and trees in mint and off white, they look so pretty next to the paper pom pom flowers. This is one glamorous vintage Christmas inspiration what with all that glistening gold and opulent feathers!

It was great to see their collection at the Top Drawer interior show in all its sugary, sparkly glory! I so need to get some of the gorgeous paper blooms and striped straws for my Summer soiree's.

I am in love with the gorgeous candy coloured paper blooms in the Spring/Summer 2012 catalogue. I also have my eye on the labelled jars that I could use for organized storage and lots of cute bird decor!

Miss Etoile @ Top Drawer

This week for my 'shops i love' page, I bring you Miss Etoile, a Danish brand started in November 2008 by ex-Lisbeth Dahl designer, Anne Lassen, with backing from Bahne Sørensen A/S.

"Miss Étoile is a fictive person, created by Anne Lassen, who lives in a glamorous universe, surrounded by beauty and femininity in her boudoir home in Paris. She is the centre of every collection. I discovered the brand last week at Top Drawer and am in love with the ceramic lid jars, bird paperweights and the pretty embellished China. I am also delighted to tell you that charming lifestyle boutique Bohemia, one of my sweet sponsors, will be stocking this adorable brand soon...
